Police, MCMC open 264 investigation papers on ‘false’ Covid-19 news

CORONAVIRUS | Police and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) have open a total of 264 investigation papers on alleged false news pertaining to Covid-19 to date, Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob had said.

Of this, he said 177 cases are still being investigated, 30 were charged in court, 11 have been issued warning notices and 18 resulted in guilty pleas...
